S.C. woman arrested for failing to return rented VHS

GREENVILLE, S.C., Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Police in South Carolina arrested a woman they accused of failing to return a Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy VHS she rented.

Kayla Michelle Finley, 27, was charged with failure to return a rented video cassette, the Pickens County Sheriff's Office said.

Finley allegedly rented "Monster-in-Law" from Dalton Video, which is no longer in business, in 2005 and failed to rerun the VHS within 72 hours, WHNS-TV, Greenville, S.C., reported Friday.

The warrant said Finley was sent letters requesting she return the video several times, but she never responded. Finley said she never received the warnings and plans to fight the charges.
