WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- One of Jay Z’s 99 problems might be a pretty big one -- the commander in chief.
After the Internet began buzzing on Monday with rumors that the Washington Post was working on a story about an affair between United States President Barack Obama and Beyoncé, a spokesperson for the paper has said they are false.
According to a report in French newspaper le Figaro, a French photographer made the claim during a radio interview.
"You know, at this time, the United States, there is something big that is happening,” Pascal Rostann allegedly said. “Anyway, it'll go out tomorrow in the Washington Post -- we cannot say that it is the gutter press -- [a story about] an alleged affair between President Barack Obama and Beyoncé. I can assure you that the world will be talking about it."
@caityweaver Most important question: would this cement Beyoncé's position as "The New Marilyn Monroe"?

That’s “definitely not true,” Post spokesperson Kris Coratti told Poynter.
"I can tell you that this is wrong,” Coratti also reportedly told Vanity Fair France. "The Washington Post does not prepare articles like this.”
Well that’s a relief.
False or not, people on Twitter are enjoying the “story” thus far.
