ROCHESTER, Minn., Feb. 6 (UPI) -- An attempted burglary at a Rochester, Minn., fishing shop was stopped by a novelty singing fish mounted on a wall, police said.

The artificial bass, mounted on a plaque and hung near the front door of the Hooked on Fishing store, is calibrated to sing "Take Me to the River" whenever the door is opened. The fish, called "Big Mouth Billy," was found on the floor after an intruder knocked it down in an attempt to break in, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Thursday.

Although fishing equipment and cash were left in the shop "in a very visible spot," Sheriff's Office Sgt. Tom Clayton said, "nothing was missing, other than Billy's pride."
