ASTANA, Kazakhstan, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- A Kazakhstan court ordered a woman to repay the $6,500 she found in a pair of boots she was given as a gift.

The court in Zhetikara heard the plaintiff, a 47-year-old city resident, forgot she had stashed the cash in the boots when she gave them to a friend as a gift for the friend's daughter-in-law, RIA Novosti reported Wednesday.
