The sign was tracked to the wedding by locals who set out to investigate the disappearances of signs from their village and spotted one of the signs being used as a prop in a wedding photo posted to Facebook, TheLocal.es reported Tuesday. "They meant to return it the day after the wedding but they either forgot or were just too lazy," the groom told the La Voz de Galicia daily. "There was no real malice but I'm sorry to the people of Villapene for all the hassle," he said.
