Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe ADA, Okla., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- An Oklahoma man who found a memory card in a picture frame he bought at a Goodwill store said he was able to reunite its owners with their pictures and videos. George Chaplin said he and his wife were going through old boxes at their Ada home Christmas Day when they came across the digital picture frame and its memory card, KOCO-TV, Oklahoma City, reported Monday. Advertisement "We had purchased this photo frame used at a Goodwill back in Iowa where we lived, and I found this little, bitty memory card," Chaplin said. Chaplin said the card was filled with what appeared to be a family's priceless pictures and videos. "We took 2 or 3 hours on Christmas Day trying to find clues, little clues," he said. He said one picture showed a certificate bearing the name "Ethan Stallings" and another showed a little girl in a cheerleading outfit for Lanette, which they took to mean Lanette, Ala. Chaplin said he was able to track down and contact the family. "So many memories they thought were lost, they got back and that made my Christmas and I know it made theirs," he said. Advertisement Terry Steele, the original owner of the digital picture frame, said many of the photos and videos were taken by his late wife, who died in April. He said the frame was stolen in a burglary a few years ago. "Her memories always in our hearts, but her voice was gone and it's a Christmas miracle we got them back," he said.
