SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- A San Francisco nudity activist said she plans to disrobe during her wedding on the steps of City Hall, leaving the outcome of the ceremony uncertain.

Gypsy Taub, 44, said she and fiance Jaymz Smith, 22, are planning their wedding for noon Thursday on the steps of City Hall, and during the wedding she plans to shed her thrift store gown and finish the ceremony wearing just her veil, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Tuesday.

Taub said she expects to be arrested as a result of her public nudity, so she is unsure of whether the ceremony will be completed Thursday.

"If they arrest us, we are just going to keep coming back until they let us get married naked," Taub said.

She said she could face up to a year in jail as a repeat offender, but she will not agree to a jail sentence without a trial.

"It would be the biggest thing to promote," she said. "My reputation will skyrocket."
