On Sunday, North Carolina state Senator Bob Rucho tweeted that the Affordable Care Act is worse than terrorism, Hitler and the Soviets combined.
Justice Robert's pen & Obamacare has done more damage to the USA then the swords of the Nazis,Soviets & terrorists combined.— Bob Rucho (@SenatorBobRucho) December 15, 2013
He expanded on that thought and then went back to tweeting about the important stuff -- NFL football.
Those that tweeted, put your thinking caps back on:"The PEN is mightier than the SWORD."Edward Bulwar-Lytton,1839. But surely you knew that.— Bob Rucho (@SenatorBobRucho) December 15, 2013
Another great day in the Carolinas. The Panthers win in the land of life, liberty and where all can pursue their dream of happiness. Period.— Bob Rucho (@SenatorBobRucho) December 16, 2013
Earlier this year, the Finance Committee Co-Chair was one of the primary sponsors of a bill prohibiting North Carolina residents from setting up a health insurance exchange or participating in the expansion of Medicaid. According to the White House, if the state was participating in the expansion, some 377,000 North Carolinians would qualify for Medicaid coverage.
