New Yorkers dressed as Santa, elves and even pandas Saturday during the annual festivities in Manhattan and Brooklyn, the New York Daily News reported. Advertisement Police kept on eye on things for the first time this year after residents complained of revelers urinating and vomiting in the street last year, the New York Post reported. "I think it's the dumbest thing I've ever seen," said Greg Stone of Oceanside, Long Island. "It's an excuse for white kids to come to the city from the suburbs and drink." Police handed out fliers with rules and suggestions for the city-wide party. Some party-goers weren't too happy with the police presence. "You can't have a good time when the cops are hovering over you," said Ashley Urciuoli, 23, a medical assistant. "They are ruining Santa Con. They are ruining our fun. ... The cops should be here, but not to bust our balls," said Anthony Perugini, a 28-year-old teacher.
