Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Police say that an argument about beer at a St. Louis White Castle early on Tuesday morning led a suspect to stab a 57-year-old man in the head.

The suspect was told by an employee that he had to leave after walking into the White Castle holding a beer at about 3:50 a.m.

When the beer-drinking suspect started a confrontation with the employee, another male patron tried to help.

During a physical altercation with the man and the employee, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the head. The man was taken to the hospital with a minor facial injury.

“I’ve never heard anything like that,” said passerby Leonard Cannon. “Maybe the guy had a problem,” he said.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
