SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Police in Texas said they arrested a man accused of using a sword in his attempt to get a waitress to give him tacos for free.

Investigators said Adam Kramer, 28, had a large sword in a black sheath at his waist last week when he ordered six tacos at the Alondras De Jalisco restaurant in San Antonio around 2:30 p.m. Dec. 2 and he started sliding the sword in and out of its sheath when the waitress told him his food would not be free, the San Antonio Express-News reported Tuesday.

The arrest report said the waitress asked a cook to come talk to Kramer, but the man left the business when he heard the phone ring. Kramer went out to his vehicle before walking back to the restaurant, leading the waitress to lock the door.

"Mr. Kramer was yelling that he wanted his free tacos or somebody was going to die," the arrest report stated.

Kramer, who left the scene in a black Toyota truck, was arrested the following day on an unrelated charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and he was recognized from the incident at Alondras De Jalisco.
