Dec. 4 (UPI) -- After doing an ad for Turkish Airlines that really took off with more than 105 million views on YouTube in the last year, basketball star Kobe Bryant has teamed up with soccer legend Lionel Messi for a sequel.

The ad is part of a new Turkish Airlines ad campaign by agency Crispin Porter & Bogusk themed “Widen your world.” During the spot, Bryant and Messi stop at locations in China, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, Istanbul and the U.S.

The airline posted the new commercial to YouTube and it already has almost 2.5 million views.

“Basketball star Kobe Bryant and football icon Lionel Messi are back in this epic face-off for selfie supremacy,” Turkish Airlines wrote. “Armed with cameras and Turkish Airlines -- the carrier that flies to more countries than any other -- these superstars show up and show off across the globe.”

Whether this new spot will soar to the heights of the original is anyone’s guess. If nothing else, the campaign has at least captured the attention of ex-NFL star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.
