852 kids set human Christmas tree record at Bangkok mall

BANGKOK, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Guinness World Records confirmed a group of 852 children in colorful hoodies set a record for the world's largest human Christmas tree.

Guinness said a representative was on hand Friday at the Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok to confirm the record set by the children -- who were dressed in green, red and dark-colored hoodies and arranged in the shape of a Christmas tree at the mall -- the Bangkok Post reported Friday.

The children were ages 6-15, the shopping mall said.
