The Los Angeles Times said the Rev. Caleb Kaltenbach, pastor of Discovery Church, came across the Bibles in a Simi Valley Costco while looking for a gift. He tweeted a picture of the label Friday, saying, "Costco has Bibles for sale under the genre of FICTION Hmmmm ... " Advertisement But the newspaper said the pastor also saw some good in the discovery. "It's caused a lot of controversy, it's caused a lot of conversation, which I think conversation is good," Kaltenbach told KCBS-TV, Los Angeles. Costco issued a statement to Fox News saying although only a few Bibles were mislabeled, "We take responsibility and should have caught the mistake. We are correcting this with them for future distribution." The company apologized and said all mislabeled Bibles were immediately relabeled, the Times said.
