Police: Drunken driving suspect was dressed as The Joker

PITTSFIELD, Maine, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Police in Maine said a man dressed as Batman villain The Joker was arrested on a drunken driving charge after he lost control of his vehicle.

Sgt. Timothy Roussin of the Pittsfield Police Department said Dennis Lalime, 64, of Pittsfield lost control of his car around 2 a.m. Sunday and crashed into multiple trees and a rock, the Waterville Morning Sentinel reported Monday.

Roussin said Lalime told police he was going home from a Halloween party in Old Town and was cooperative with officers. He was wearing clown makeup and green dye in his hair to resemble Batman villain The Joker, police said.

Lalime, who was not injured, was arrested on suspicion of operating under the influence.
