STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Swedish underwear maker Bjorn Borg said its "Weapons of Mass Seduction" campaign might result in undies being dropped on the North Korean capital.

Jonas Lindberg Nyvang, marketing and communication manager of Bjorn Borg, said the company's online poll is seeking a city to drop underwear on for its "Bjorn Borg says 'Ja!' to Weapons of Mass Seduction" campaign and a surge of voters from South Korea drove the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, into the top spot, The Local.se reported Tuesday.

"We wanted to create a way to spread our campaign, these weapons of mass seduction we have," Nyvang said. "We wanted to do it in an online way where people could nominate a place in the world, a place in need of love and seduction. And we're dropping 450 pairs of underwear on the winning location."

He said Monday there were still 16 days of voting left in the poll.

"We don't know if Pyongyang will win," he said.

Company officials said it is looking into how an underwear drop over Pyongyang might be carried out.

"We have honestly no idea on how to drop our underwear over North Korea, but we have started looking into if there is a way," global marketing director Lina Soderqvist said. "If they win, we will of course do everything that we can to send some love and seduction to the North Koreans."
