TAIPEI, Taiwan, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- A University of Missouri graduate has become an online star with her dance video resignation from a Taiwan news animation company.

Marina Shifrin, who graduated from the university's School of Journalism, posted her resignation video to YouTube Saturday and it has since received more than 6 million views, The Kansas City (Mo.) Star reported Tuesday.

The video depicts Shifrin dancing to Kanye West's "Gone" while in the Taiwan office of Next Media Animation at 4:30 a.m. The video has captions explaining Shifrin's frustration with her job and telling the company she is quitting.

Next Media Animation specializes in making animated videos that satirize the big news and entertainment stories of the day.

Shifrin said the job made her frustrated with journalism.

"I am not saying journalists are monsters, but the atmosphere of today's society -- everything has to be first, loud and sensational -- is taking the discretion out of journalism," she wrote in a blog post.
