Abby Riggs shuffled down the aisle Saturday with blood dripping down her chin and grime tarnishing her once-pristine, white wedding dress, The (Muncie) Star-Press reported Saturday. Advertisement Groom Thomas Ehmer said they had long been interested in zombies and wanted to do something a little different when they tied the knot on the Ball State University Quad. "We've both been married before, so we know how serious weddings usually are and we wanted to do something that was fun. Something people would remember," he said. Ehmer's mother, Kay Chenoweth, said she wasn't sure about the themed wedding at first. "I love Abby. I think she's wonderful. But this wedding. ... When he told me, I was like, 'You have to be kidding?'" Chenoweth said. "I did ask him, 'Is there going to be a Christian prayer?' I needed to know. He was like this as a younger boy, though. Always doing something different and being his own person so I know they're happy and that's all that matters. Everybody's having fun."
