The Charles County Sheriff's Office said the 25-year-old woman struck a tree with her Hyundai in Waldorf and the car ended up submerged in 5 feet of water in Wakefield Lake, WTOP-TV, Washington, reported Wednesday. Advertisement The woman, who did not appear to be injured, told deputies she had been texting while driving when she lost control of the vehicle. The sheriff's office said charges are pending against the woman.
