A woman said she saw a man enter the church after she heard someone trying to break open the building's front door, police said. The man told her he "came to pray."

The woman checked with church staff to ensure the man was not supposed to be in the building, then called police and left.

The man was found sitting at a piano in the sanctuary when deputies arrived. He told the officers he "came to pray."
