ZILWAUKEE, Mich., Sept. 10 (UPI) -- The Michigan Department of Transportation said a "loose gorilla" warning in Saginaw County was the result of a hacked highway sign.

The department said the sign alongside Interstate 75, near the Zilwaukee Bridge, was hacked Friday and the text was changed to read "I-75 is closed due to loose gorilla," WNEM-TV, Saginaw, Mich., reported Tuesday.

The sign was corrected by 7 a.m. Saturday.
