The Flagler County Sheriff's Office said deputies spoke to the wife of Avelino Urbano Garon, 59, and she told them the couple had been fighting "all day" Aug. 17 at their Palm Coast home and one of the contentious subjects was the state of the cat litter, the Daytona Beach (Fla.) News-Journal reported Monday. Advertisement "Avelino was becoming angrier and threatening to throw the cat against the wall," the arrest report said. He allegedly "took possession of a knife" and threatened his wife with the object. "Do you want me to kill you? I will kill you," he allegedly told his wife. "Avelino made a verbal statement advising that he believes a wife is responsible for cleaning the litter box and he did no wrong in threatening [her]," a deputy wrote in the report. Garon was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was released after posting $1,000 bail.
