CLEARWATER, Fla., Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Fishermen on the Marlin Darlin said the vessel lived up to its namesake when a 350-pound marlin jumped aboard off the Dominican Republic.
Bobby Jacobsen, owner of the Florida-based fishing boat, shot video Thursday morning while one of his friends grappled with the fish, which jumped into the 62-foot vessel off the Dominican coast, the Tampa Bay (Fla.) Times reported Monday.
The marlin, which was badly injured when it jumped into the boat, was donated to local fishermen.
