SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Aug. 22 (UPI) -- The Illinois Department of Employment Security's website has a tool allowing users to view the site in the fictional Klingon language from "Star Trek."

Greg Rivara, a spokesman for the department, said the language was offered alongside English, Spanish, Polish, Chinese and Russian as a promotion for the film "Star Trek: Into Darkness" earlier in the summer, but officials decided to keep it due to a positive response from the public and an increase in the website's traffic, the Chicago Tribune reported Thursday.

"We kept it up because every now and then, people notice it, and whenever people are drawn to our website to see the benefits that we offer, that's a good thing," Rivara said.

Rivara said the language translation does not cost the department any money, as it uses the free Microsoft Translate service.
