LANCASTER, Wis., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Authorities in Wisconsin said a man driving a rented convertible was text messaging on his phone when he crashed into a manure truck.
The Grant County Sheriff's Department said Matthew Bruhn, 37, was text messaging and talking on his phone at 11:34 a.m. Monday when he crashed his rented Ford Mustang convertible into a truck pulling a trailer filled with liquid manure, KCCI-TV, Des Moines, Iowa, reported Wednesday.
Bruhn was treated for a broken finger. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The condition of the vehicles involved was not released.
