NEW YORK, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- A New York couple said an outdoor shower being built on the back of their home will have privacy coverings to prevent neighbors from getting an eyeful.

James Cavoli, 46, a former prosecutor, and Julie Scelfo, 39, a contributing editor for The New York Times, said the outdoor shower that neighbors have raised fears about being too open will not be used until "privacy coverings" have been installed, the New York Daily News reported Wednesday.

"We are flattered and mildly fascinated that our neighbors have taken an interest in a bathroom that has never been used and is still under construction," Cavoli said. "And we can only hope they will be as friendly when installation of the glass privacy coverings are complete."
