HAMILTON, Ontario, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Authorities in Canada said a burglary at an Ontario trucking company resulted in the loss of nearly $16,300 worth of shampoo and mouthwash.

Constable Debbie McGreal-Dinning of the Hamilton Police Service said the shampoo and mouthwash were packed into a 2005 DMND-FV trailer for shipping when the thieves entered at some point between midnight and 6 a.m. Aug. 16 and stole a 2003 blue Freightliner tractor to haul the goods away, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported Tuesday.

McGreal-Dinning said investigators do not know if the thieves intended to take the shampoo and mouthwash or whether they were just the most convenient objects to take.
