NEW YORK, N.M., Aug. 16 (UPI) -- New York mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner's sexting scandal has inspired a new hot dog called the Carlos Danger Weiner, promoters revealed Friday.

Carlos Danger was the pseudonym Weiner, a former U.S. congressman who is running for mayor, employed at times while engaging in sexually oriented online communications.

Randall Richards, chief executive officer of Web Dominators LLC in Orlando, Fla., established a new company, Carlos Danger LLC, and is producing the hot dogs in partnership with Thrushwood Farms Quality Meats in Illinois.

The new enterprise is taking orders on its website where the weiners are described as "the World's Most Delicious Dogs With Mocking Salacious Fun," ABC News reported.

Richards says he's trying to line up some chains to carry them as well.

"This is something that's too good of an opportunity to pass up," Richards said. "It's a great American dream to make money off a stupid political gaffe."

The network said Weiner's campaign office did not respond to its requests for comment.
