The customer stopped for lunch at the Golden Arches in Avignon earlier this week and left full but without his backpack, which contained the 25,000 euros ($33,350) he had made in a recent real estate transaction. The Local.fr said Avignon police contacted the frantic customer and returned the envelope. No word on whether the backpack itself was found or if a thief had dumped the contents and waked away with it.
