CORNISH, Maine, July 11 (UPI) -- A convenience store shoplifter was caught in Cornish, Maine, after the store owner said he posted surveillance photographs on his store's Facebook page.

Store co-owner Mark Call was told by the York County, Maine, Sheriff's Department a lack of evidence would likely leave unsolved an incident in which a person left the store with unpaid for items.

Call said he then posted surveillance photographs on Facebook and offered a $100 reward for information.

After about an hour Call began receiving tips, and after three hours the unnamed alleged shoplifter turned himself into police, WCSH-TV, Portland, Maine, reported, adding everyone who helped identify the suspect declined to take the reward.
