The FBI said Dee Ann Sanders, 53, of Martin, walked into the Bank of America in Byron Township June 18 and handed a teller a note demanding $2,500 for her children and grandchildren, WWMT-TV, Kalamazoo, Mich., reported Thursday. Advertisement However, MLive.com reported the woman fled with only $1,092 and was arrested when her son called investigators and said he recognized his mother from surveillance images released to the media. FBI special agent Adam Van Deuren said Sanders admitted to the robbery during an interview with FBI investigators and a Kent County sheriff's detective. Sanders was indicted Tuesday on a bank robbery charge. "Sanders further stated that she was stressed about problems with her husband, causing her to have crack-cocaine addiction-related urges," the FBI agent wrote.
