COLLEGE STATION, Texas, June 12 (UPI) -- The George Bush Presidential Library Foundation in Texas said it is celebrating former President George H.W. Bush's birthday with colorful socks.

The foundation said the 89th birthday of the former president, who is known for wearing brightly colored socks to various events, is being marked by workers donning similarly exuberant foot-coverings and members of the public being invited to share their own sock photos online.
