Police in Fort Wayne, Indiana are investigating a shooting after a man walked into St. Joseph Hospital Sunday night suffering from at least two gunshots, including one to the jaw.

Investigators believe the man drove himself to the hospital, or that if anyone helped him, they didn't stay. A truck parked outside the emergency room entrance had a shattered window and the driver's side door was covered in blood.

Police believe the man, whose name has not been released, was shot while in the truck, but it wasn't clear at first where the shooting occurred.

Investigators were led to an alley in connection to the shooting victim, but no details were given. Residents of Greenwood Ave. told WANE-TV they heard multiple gunshots before seeing a silver pickup truck speed down the street.

The patient is in serious condition and the shooting is still under investigation.
