LONDON, May 10 (UPI) -- A woman knocked off her bicycle while riding to work in London was startled when she came to and found Labor Party leader Ed Miliband bending over her.

Ella Phillips said she was briefly unconscious when she had to brake suddenly last week because of a bike in front of her and flipped off on to the ground, the Camden New Journal reported. The first thing she saw when she opened her eyes was Miliband.

"He mysteriously appeared out of nowhere, a bit like an action hero," Phillips said.

"I started to wonder how badly I'd banged my head," she added. "My first thought was that I was seeing things because I was still in quite a daze."

Phillips said Miliband "literally disappeared into thin air" once he realized she did not need further assistance.

Miliband's office confirmed only that he had stopped to help Phillips.

Phillips, a 29-year-old artist who was on her way to work at a gallery in Holborn, said she is now a Miliband convert.
