Woman dressed as Hulk accused in assault

YORK, England, May 9 (UPI) -- Police said they are seeking a woman accused of assaulting a teenager while dressed as Marvel's The Hulk superhero.

Police in York, England, released CCTV footage of the woman dressed as the anger-powered green superhero in an attempt to identify the suspect, The Mirror reported Thursday.

Investigators said the woman allegedly punched a 17-year-old girl in the face just after 3 a.m. April 26 outside a McDonald's.

"This appears to have been a wholly unprovoked assault. Thankfully the injuries were not too severe," police constable Cheryl Hunter said. "However, the outcome could have been far more serious."

"If you witnessed the assault or can identify the woman I need to speak to about this incident, I ask that you contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away," Hunter said.
