The office's figures, released Wednesday, said Teesside Airport Station in Darlington, England, which is served by only one train per week, is Britain's most deserted train station, followed by Dorking West in Dorking, England, which served 16 passengers last year and 22 the previous year, The Daily Telegraph reported Thursday. Advertisement The station with the third least passengers was Denton in Greater Manchester, which had 30 passengers last year and 52 the previous year. "Although passenger numbers are low, we continue to work closely with the Friends of Denton and the South East Manchester Community Rail Partnership on a local level," said a spokeswoman for Northern Rail, the station's operator.
