Mom allegedly encourages BB gun vandalism

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y., April 21 (UPI) -- A Long Island, N.Y., mom is accused of driving around two of her children and a friend and encouraging the trio to use a BB gun to shoot out parked car windows.

Susan Becker, 43, faces 10 count of criminal mischief and 11 counts of endangering the welfare of a child after police said she drove through several Long Island towns with her son, 13, daughter 15 and another 15-year-old, encouraging them to shoot out windows on cars, Suffolk County police told the New York Post.

More than 60 incidents of parked vehicles being shot at were reported, police said.
