$100,000 worth of hamburger patties stolen in New Jersey

LINDEN, N.J., April 11 (UPI) -- Police in New Jersey said someone stole a shipping container filled with $100,000 worth of hamburger patties.

Linden Police Capt. James Sarnicki said the refrigerated container was on a trailer and was taken from BMG Logistics in Linden at 10:33 p.m. Monday, The (Newark, N.J.) Star-Ledger reported Thursday.

Sarnicki said grainy security camera footage shows a tractor pulling the trailer, which bore California license plate number 4HR1817, from the lot.

The container was shipped from Kansas City, Mo., and was bound for Hilton hotels in the Netherlands, police said.
