SEATTLE, March 24 (UPI) -- A pregnant woman in Seattle allegedly used a stun gun to attack a bike messenger in a fit of road rage, police say.

The incident happened just after 11:15 a.m. Friday when the bike messenger was passing through a crosswalk, KOMO-TV, Seattle, reported. When the cyclist was in the middle of the crosswalk a car pulled up, stopped abruptly and honked at the messenger, who kicked the car, yelled something and tried to move on his way.

However, when he reached the passenger side of the car, a pregnant woman, got out and approached him. The woman allegedly pulled a stun gun out of her bra and tried to attack the messenger.

He tried to get away, but his alleged attacker gave chase and soon caught up with him -- and hit him twice in the face. The driver of the car got out, wielding his own stun gun, and also hit the messenger several times.

The messenger wasn't seriously injured in the incident.

Police are investigating.

The names of the messenger and the alleged attackers were not reported.
