PORTSMOUTH, N.H., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Police in New Hampshire said they were called to a senior living apartment building to break up an altercation between two women at a bingo game.

Portsmouth police Sgt. Kuffer Kaltenborn said officers responded to the community room at Feaster Apartments in Portsmouth around 2:06 p.m. Friday on a report of "some pushing and shoving" over Avon products at the building's regularly scheduled bingo game, seacoastonline.com reported Tuesday.

"The altercation appears to have been started over the fact that one resident was upsetting another by [selling Avon and disrupting] the scheduled bingo event that occurs," Kaltenborn said.

The police report said the alleged victim had marks on her arm.

Officers are investigating whether an assault occurred and whether to press charges, Kaltenborn said.
