BERLIN, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- A pair of German men said they are making money from online dating by playing Cyrano to those unable to write their own profiles and messages.

Ingo Mobius said he came up with the idea for SureDate after helping his brother meet women on dating websites and he launched the company with Andreas Laufer, who manages the company's business, in September, The Local.de reported Wednesday.

The pair said many of their clients are professionals who work long hours and don't have time to search for love on the Internet.

"Businessmen who work 12-hour days don't want to come home and sit in front of a computer looking for dates," Laufer said.

Laufer said other clients said they were frustrated by going through page after page of profiles to find a good match and some are simply too shy for the types of conversations typically held on dating sites.

"You hire a cleaner to clean your house or a taxman to do your taxes and by doing so save time and effort," the site reads.

The service, which currently has about 50 clients, costs $914 per month for the premium package and a one-time $99 payment for a stripped-down service guaranteeing one date.
