SAN DIEGO, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- A San Diego bride and groom who held their wedding in a hot air balloon said there were no serious injuries when the balloon crash-landed in a yard.

Jonathan and Kerin Narcisse said they held their nuptials in the sky above the city Monday and the balloon began swinging in the wind shortly after the ceremony was concluded, NBC's "Today" news program reported Tuesday.

U-T San Diego reported the balloon, owned by Skysurfer Balloon Co., made a crash-landing in a residential yard.

Local resident Mark Carlile told "Today" he witnessed the crash.

"We heard a lot of screaming, so we ran up there as fast as we could and found a bride and groom, a wedding party, and a bunch of very relieved people," he said.

Kerin Narcisse said the incident did not sour her on hot air balloons.

"If I get married again, I'll get married in a hot air balloon," she said.
