Police: McD's robber returned for meal

PONTIAC, Mich., Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Authorities in Michigan said a suspect in a McDonald's robbery was arrested three months later after returning to the same restaurant for a meal.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said the 40-year-old man, whose name was not released, was going through the drive-through at the Pontiac fast food restaurant at 7:57 p.m. Saturday when a worker identified him as the same man who committed a robbery there Oct. 5, The Detroit News reported Monday.

The man was arrested near the restaurant and taken to the Oakland County Jail on pending charges, the sheriff's office said.
