LONDON, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Representatives for British Prince Harry said the royal won't pursue a complaint with the Press Complaints Commission over his nude pictures.

St. James' Palace, where Harry's staff has headquarters, said the prince won't pursue a complaint after The Sun published nude photos of the prince in Las Vegas despite the royal family warning the move could be seen as an invasion of his privacy, the BBC reported Friday.

A palace spokeswoman said "it would not be prudent to pursue the matter further."

"Having considered the matter now for a number of weeks, we have decided not to pursue a complaint," the spokeswoman said.

However, the spokeswoman said Harry and his staff "remain of the opinion that a hotel room is a private space where its occupants would have a reasonable expectation of privacy."
