A criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court stated the investigator messaged back that he wanted to buy $100 worth and set up a meeting for Friday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Tuesday. That's when he met up with Najileh Cekoc Sengbloh, 24, and arrested her for selling drugs.
Sengbloh allegedly told police she had placed an ad on Craigslist looking to sell some marijuana and had tried to contact one of the numbers she had received in reply, apparently getting the investigator's number instead.
"What are the chances of that happening?" Sgt. Steve McCarty, a spokesman for the Minneapolis police, pondered.
Sengbloh was released from custody Monday, the newspaper said.
