PERRYSBURG, Ohio, June 13 (UPI) -- The Ohio Highway Patrol said a truck carrying 20,000 pounds of toilet paper caught fire on an interstate and spilled much of its contents onto the road.

Investigators said Rock Plourde, 56, of LaSalle, Quebec, was driving the truck south on Interstate 75 around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday in Perrysburg Township when the trailer's air lines dislodged and caught fire, leading to flames spreading to the rear axles and the load of toilet paper, The (Toledo) Blade reported Wednesday.

The highway patrol said hundreds of toilet paper rolls spilled onto the roadway, and the remaining product that was not damaged by the fire ended up doused by firefighters.

No injuries were reported and some lanes of the road were closed for a short time during cleanup operations.
