World's tallest Lego tower built in Seoul

SEOUL, May 14 (UPI) -- Lego officials in South Korea announced the completion of the world's largest Lego tower, measuring 104 feet, 8 inches tall, with the crown prince of Denmark placing the final brick on the structure.

Lego Korea said the tower, which was built in Seoul during the weekend by 4,000 young contest winners, was planned to mark the 80th anniversary of the Lego group.

The final brick was placed Sunday to defeat the previous world record of 103 feet, 8 inches, which was set in France, Lego Korea said.
