WINDSOR, Ontario, May 8 (UPI) -- A Canadian woman gave birth in a restaurant restroom Tuesday with the help of two employees, the restaurant's manager said.

The 7-pound, 4-ounce girl born at a Tim Hortons was the second child for Shireen Anderson of Windsor, Ontario. She named the baby Azauria.

Manager Aaron Hayes said Anderson was already experiencing contractions when she showed up alone. He said he offered her a chair but she ran to the washroom screaming and delivered her baby at 11:15 a.m.

"There wasn't much time to be scared when that baby was coming out," said Hayes, who, along with fellow employee Judy Glenn, helped Anderson through it with some coaching from a 911 operator. "It was hard to hear sometimes because the lady was screaming so loud. They worked great with us.

"It's a good feeling that we helped her out."

Customer Hani Safari witnessed the birth.

"Within three or four minutes, ambulances starting coming out of nowhere," Safari said. "And before you knew it, the miracle of life was happening right behind me. It was amazing."
