Chicago police news affairs officer Veejay Zala said the 17-year-old suspect fled on foot after grabbing the phones three children set down while playing outside, the Chicago Tribune reported Monday. Advertisement Zala said a sergeant used a tracking system installed on one of the phones to track down the suspect and retrieve the devices. Police said charges were pending against the teenage suspect.
