JOSEPH, Mich., March 20 (UPI) -- Authorities in Michigan said they pulled a 45-year-old woman out of Lake Michigan after she fell off a pier while text messaging. St. Joseph police said Bonnie Miller of Benton Harbor was text messaging on her phone and was not carefully watching where she was walking when she fell Monday from the South Pier in St. Joseph, WOOD-TV, Grand Rapids, reported Tuesday.
